In all businesses, disputes sometimes arise.  This can cause important business relationships to become strained or jeopardized.  Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) offers disputing parties the means and opportunity to negotiate and settle their legal issues without having to resolve them in court or at trial.  Furthermore, ADR is a quicker and more cost effective method to resolve disputes, and gives parties more control over the manner in which their issues are handled.

The Busch Law Firm has experience in the following forms of ADR:

  • Mediation: Where a neutral third party acts as a mediator to help conflicting parties find a solution to their issues.  The mediator never renders a final decision as to how the case should be resolved, but helps the conflicting parties communicate in order to resolve their disputes.  We can advise you and represent your interests in mediation.
  • Arbitration: Where all involved parties present evidence and testimony to an impartial arbitrator or panel of arbitrators that act as both judge and jury.  The arbitrator considers all sides of the issue, and then makes a decision.  Arbitration may take much less time than a trial, and can be more private and cost effective.

We have successfully represented numerous clients in various forms of ADR.  Our senior partner, Richard Busch, has extensive exposure and formal training in conflict management, dispute resolution and design, and proper ADR representation techniques.  In addition, he is qualified to serve as a neutral third party in mediation proceedings.

Mr. Busch is aware of the advantages and disadvantages of ADR, and expertly guides his clients through their ADR procedures in order to obtain favorable results.  Mr. Busch aggressively negotiates with other attorneys in order to ensure that the needs and desires of his clients are protected and taken care of.  Each client receives personalized attention, and we are always available to discuss any questions, problems, or concerns our clients may have.
